Yero appoints Major Abubakar as Operation Yaki boss

Governor of Kaduna state, Dr. Mukhtar Ramalan Yero, has appointed Major Abubakar Adamu Muhammad (rtd) as the new Coordinator and Special Adviser on the state security outfit, Operation Yaki.
The appointment followed the death of Colonel Dangana Mamman Dickson who was former coordinator of the joint security task force.
A press statement signed by the Director General, Media and Publicity to the Governor, Malam Ahmed Maiyaki, said the appointment letter personally signed by Governor Mukhtar Ramalan Yero, thus: “This appointment is based on your wealth of experience, track record of performance and the keen interest you have shown towards the positive development of the state.
“It is, therefore, expected that you will bring your wealth of experience to bear in the discharge of your duties.”
The governor has also approved the appointment of Malam Yakubu Lere as Executive Director (Radio) of the Kaduna State Media Corporation (KSMC).
Lere replaced the former director, Alhaji Abba Zayan Abba, who is now the Zonal Director, Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN), Kaduna zonal office.
Both appointments are with immediate effect.
