Breaking: New Magajin Garin Zazzau emerges

Alhaji Mu’azu Nuhu Bamalli on Friday emerged as the new Magajin Garin Zazzau following the death of Nigeria’s ambassador to Morocco, Alhaji Mansur.

Mu’azu is the immediate Elder Brother of the Late Magajin Garin Zazzau who died last week.

Blueprint recalls that Mansur Nuhu Bamalli died at a private Hospital in Lagos while on transit to Morocco.

The new appointment was announced through a statement by the Media and Publicity Officer of Zazzau Emirate, Abdullahi Aliyu Kwarbai on Friday evening.

The statement read partly, “Alhaji Mu’azu Nuhu Bamalli until this evening, when His Highness the Emir of Zazzau Malam Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, CFR approved his elevation to the title of Magajin Garin Zazzau held the title of Baraden Zazzau.

“Mu’azu Nuhu Bamalli is a Deputy Director with Central Bank of Nigeria, immediate Younger Brother to His Highness the Emir of Zazzau and Senior Brother to Late Magajin Garin Zazzau Ambassador Mansur Nuhu Bamalli.”

Similarly, Alhaji Aliyu Nuhu Bamalli Sambo, the Chief of Staff to the Emir and also Younger Brother of Late Magajin Garin Zazzau Ambasssdor Mansur Nuhu Bamalli was appointed as the new Baraden Zazzau.

He is a graduate of Economics from Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria with Masters Degree from the same University,

Aliyu has worked with Legacy Pension as Manager before his appointment as Chief of Staff to the Emir.

The statement however, noted that all appointments are with immediate effect, adding that the date of the turbanning will be announced later.
