You are industrious, dutiful, NBA President hails retiring director

The President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA),Yakubu Maikyau, SAN has lauded the outgoing Director, Legal Drafting of the Federal Ministry of Justice, Barr. Ifunaya Nwajagu, for being a dutiful, and industrious public servant.

Maikyau made the remarks over the weekend in Abuja at a send forth on retirement ceremony organised for the retiring director.

According to the NBA helmsman, Nwajagu as director legal drafting has been able to midwife over 200 laws, enhance quick job delivery and has exemplified herself as an industrious member of the NBA that he was proud of.

“Nwajagu has been so impactful in her career and deserves to be celebrated. She has not only demonstrated dutifulness and forthrightness; she has revolutionized the system which has also helped us as NBA members to self-regulate ourselves as far as the fight against anti-laundering is concerned.

“We have a 2023 instrument to save us from embarrassment from law enforcement agents, we thank her for contributing in that respect,” Maikyau said.

Making a remark, Nwajagu, a member and fellow of various judicial institutions thanked the almighty for a successful career, staff and colleagues at the ministry, saying her cooperation and unity made her work easier.

The celebrant, who advocated regular capacity building for staff to enhance their skills and delivery, further harped on unity and diligence, describing it as key in order to succeed in one’s chosen career.

The Prosecutor General of the Federation, Mohammed Babadoko, guests from NITDA, NASSBER, members of the House of Representatives, directors, dignitaries, relatives and family members were at the occasion to rejoice with the celebrant.

The hallmark of the event was her induction into the ‘Keep Justice Alive Forum’.
