General Ishaya Bamayi (rtd) has been appointed as the Director General for People’s Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate and former Vice President Atiku Abubakar’s campaign in Kebbi State.
Addressing Journalists shortly after the committee’s meeting, Tuesday in Birnin Kebbi, the Chairman of the main committee, former Minister of Special Duty, Barr. Kabir Tanimu, explained that all necessary arrangements have been concluded to ensure a smooth campaign.
He added that various committees had been set up including that of security in order to overcome any challenges and ensure the successful rally in the state.
He stated, “Our presidential candidate is coming soon, and we are ready to host him and give him millions of support.”
The former Minister who inspected the venue alongside the former PDP National Women leader, Mariya Waziri, former National Treasurer, Bala Buhari, and the former PDP gubernatorial candidate General Bello Darko Yaki at Haliru Audu Stadium Birnin Kebbi, commended the organising committee for a good job.
Tanimu who said they were satisfied with the arrangements, added that they are ready to host the presidential rally and party faithful from across the country.
He assured that PDP will win the 2023 forthcoming general election in the state.
