The Ondo state Council of Obas has congratulated the flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on his emergence as the president-elect of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, describing his victory as a renewed hope for Nigerians.
Speaking on behalf of the state Obas, the chairman of the council of traditional rulers, Oba Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi, described the victory of Asiwaju Tinubu as well deserved considering the fact that the election was keenly contested as this was reflected in the pattern of votes across the country.
Oba Aladetoyinbo described the victory of the president-elect as a victory for Nigerians and indeed a renewed hope that Nigerians can keep conventional promise of a rotational presidency which is a reflection of fairness, equity and justice.
