The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) has ranked Crown University International Chartered Incorporation as a First Class international private university.
A statement issued in Abuja on Monday by the Chief Press Officer to the Vice Chancellor of the University, Emmanuel Daudu, said the university’s ranking was contained in a letter issued by Sir Luis E A, UNESCO Ambassador of Central and South America Centre in Argentina, dated July 1, 2022.
The statement added that the letter was addressed to the Vice Chancellor of the Crown University International Chartered Incorporation, Prof. Bashiru Aremu.
UNESCO said the university had satisfactorily met all the requirements of world ranking certificate of recognition for the mission and vision of international quality assurance in higher education, has finally Ranked as first class international private university.
“Whereas the following various World Grand Board of Directors as stated below have been recommended and satisfied with International Quality Assurance of education of the Crown University International Chartered Inc. with the title of World ranking certificate of recognition, in order that it may receive recognition both of its achievements with its contributions to the International Education in the World at Large.
“In recognition of superior academic quality, organization integrity and like –mindedness of mission and as documented and described by the various organizations and presented to the: The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) which is a specialised agency of the United Nations aimed at promoting world peace and security through international cooperation in education, arts, sciences, and culture
“World Accreditation Commission official partner of UNESCO and its associate’s worldwide, International Chartered World Learned Society, The Chartered World Institute of Encyclopedia of Books, The International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE) which is a world-wide association of 300+ organizations active in the theory and practice of quality assurance in higher education that works closely with National Accreditation bodies and academicians to control educational quality around the world as partners and members that they are working as joint accreditation bodies under The International Quality Assurance Agencies for Higher Education (INQAAHE) where Crown University Intl. Chartered Intl. Inc. received its global accreditation certificates as joint accreditations led by one of its agencies and partners at Board of Quality Standards (BQS) and other International Agencies worldwide.
“Therefore: let it be known by these presents that Crown University International Chartered Inc. with its official partners constituent campuses at government regulated universities worldwide and online operation which is properly chartered and registered in the United States of America and was granted full accreditation, approval by Santa Cruz Ministry of Health and Education, Argentina, South America the Accreditation and approval documents that was received on the 12th of November 2019, with Ref Number: MPP No 2837 and Resolution Number: 0384 to offer Medicine Courses and all other courses, has been this day: July 1st, 2022 Conferred This International Prestigious Award as First Class International Private University by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO)”, the letter read.
Responding, the Vice Chancellor of the university, appreciated UNESCO for the ranking, and promised to continue to promote peace in the world at large through international higher education.
