Ardo Salisu Hari, who is part of the peace advocacy visitation team to Churches and Mosques, observed that the general suspicion, fear and mistrust among the people of the areawas capable of degenerating into another round of conflict.

The association’s advocacy visit took them to the First Baptist Church, Kukum Gida and ECWA Church Kpak, all in Kagoro chiefdom of Kaura local government.

Hari appealed to the communities to forgive their Fulani neighbour in line with the provisions of the Bible, pointing out that the Fulanis on their part were ready to forgive and reconcile with their host communities and co-exist peacefully in order to bring about positive development.  he lamented the lingering crisis between the Fulanis and their host communities in the local council in particular and and southern Kaduna at large, describing it as the unfortunate handwork of the bad eggs among the Fulanis.

The Fulani Ardo commended the Christian community in the state and asked for their understanding, prayer and support for the purpose of harmony and progress of the people.

He lauded the peace building efforts of the Kaura local government administrator, which he said was producing the desired result as the Fulanis in Moro’a chiefdom, who left the place for fear, have since returned.
