Army trains 90 personnel on inspection, compliance

The director of Inspections and Compliance, Office of the Chief of Staff (COAS), Maj. Gen. Ibrahim Jallo, Thursday said the directorate has built the capacities of 90 Nigerian Army personnel on inspection and compliance.

Jallo stated this during the closing ceremony of a three- day workshop organised by the directorate for Nigerian Army personnel in Makurdi.

He expressed optimism that the officers had gained a lot from the workshop, adding that they would surely bring the knowledge they gathered from the workshop to bear on their jobs.

“The aim and purpose of the workshop have been greatly achieved. I have personally gained a lot from the workshop.

“The mere fact that we have almost 90 Nigerian Army Engineer Officers seated for the workshop and we have been conversing for the past three days is enough message that we have passed down to them.

“Our facilitators delivered excellent and broad lectures. I encouraged you the officers to sustain collaboration with them,” Jallo said.

He further thanked COAS, Lt Taoreed Lagbaja, for not only authorising the workshop but for also allowing the directorate to host it in Makurdi.

He added that the decision to host the workshop in Makurdi started two to three months ago when he came for supervision visit in Makurdi.

He also said the target audience of the Nigerian Army in the building sector are in Nigerian Army School of Military Engineering (NASME), Makurdi, adding that their number necessitated the hosting of the workshop in Makurdi.
