Kaduna airlifts 3,157 pilgrims to Saudi Arabia

Kaduna state Pilgrims Welfare Board has so far airlifted 3,157 pilgrims to Saudi Arabia since it commenced airlifting of its pilgrims last week.
The board’s Public Relations Officer, Malam Yunusa Mohammed, disclosed this in an interview with the journalists in Kaduna.
Mohammed said Med-view airline left in the early hours of Sunday with 374 intending pilgrims on board to the Holy land from the Kaduna International Airport
He said this was the 8th flight since the commencement of the operation from Kaduna.
According to him, more than half of Kaduna intending pilgrims is already in the Holy land.
Kaduna state Pilgrims Welfare Board said it was yet to dropped body  either pregnant women from the list of intending pilgrims to Mecca.
He said measures were taken by the Board for all intending pilgrims to undergo a series of medical screening, but no reported cases of any ailments.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that a total of 5, 649 pilgrims from the state are expected to perform the 2016 Hajj in Saudi Arabia.
