Emir of Biu condoles with Zulum on Idris’ death 

The Borno state governor, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum, Thursday, received a delegation from Biu Emirate led by the Emir of Biu, Alhaji Mustapha Umar Mustapha,  accompanied by  the deputy governor, Dr Umar Usman Kadafur, for a condolence visit over the death of Ibrahim Idriss Garba, the Commissioner who died recently. 

Professor Zulum commended the Emir of Biu for coming for finding time to pay the visit to commiserate with him over this great loss.

He said the state government has  lost a honest, dedicated and hardworking person and prayed  God Almighty to give his family, the people of  Biu Emirate and all his mourners the courage and fortitude to bear the great loss. 

The deputy governor, Kadafur, in his introductory remarks said the people of Biu Emirate led by the Emir of Biu have purposely paid the visit to commiserate with the governor over the death of Garba who mysteriously died Saturday and to thank the governor for giving the deceased the opportunity to serve in his cabinet as adviser and commissioner before his death.

Emir Mustapha said he paid the visit to condole with the governor, the government and people of Borno state over the death of one of his subjects.
