An apprentice simply identified as Morufu, has been crossed to death by a car in Osogbo, Osun state, Monday.
It was gathered that the incident happened in the Okebaale area around 5 pm.
An eyewitness account revealed that a Toyota Camry car lost control while trying to avoid an upcoming tipper.
Blueprint gathered that the deceased, a vulcanizer, was crushed by the car and died immediately at the roadside.
The spokesperson of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC), Kehinde Adeleke, confirmed the incident.
She said the corpse of the deceased had been taken to the hospital by the police while the vehicle was also taken to the police station.
