2024 Hajj: Bauchi tasks intending pilgrims on compliance to rules

The Special Adviser to Bauchi state governor on hajj affairs, Shehu Wadaji, has appealed to intending pilgrims from the state to ensure total compliance with the 2024 hajj rules and regulations to guarantee their safe movement while in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Wadaji gave the advice when he led 2024 state hajj officials on a visit to hajj enlightenment centres in Giade, Shira, Jama’are and Itas Gadau local government areas of the state to monitor the conduct of their operations.

The hajj adviser told the intending pilgrims that the administration of Governor Bala Mohammed is committed to their welfare and well-being, hence the need for them to be in an orderly manner throughout the hajj operations.

He noted that the governor’s unwavering commitment to enhancing the experience and knowledge of intending pilgrims is truly commendable and expressed confidence that they are well-prepared, informed, and ready to embark on the spiritual journey.

“On behalf of members of our delegation, I want to extend our appreciation to our amiable governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, for his continuous support and encouragement for the benefit of our intending pilgrims. The governor’s backing towards such highlights his government’s readiness for the smooth hajj operations and the well-being of our pilgrims.

“Our hajj enlightenment centres in our local government areas have been doing a commendable effort towards spreading awareness and ensuring compliance with the hajj rules among intending pilgrims. May your efforts continue to elevate the hajj experience, ensuring the safety and well-being of our pilgrims.”

The spokesman of the 2024 Amirul Hajj team, Yayanuwa Zainabari, assured that the team led by the Emir of Dass, Usman Bilyaminu Othman, is working round the clock in close collaboration with the relevant authorities to achieve the desired objectives.
