President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday commissioned an International Cargo Airport Damaturu, named after the President.
President Buhari who arrived the state capital around 2:57 pm later on paid homage to the Emir of Damaturu, Alhaji Shehu Hashimi II Ibn Umar Al-Amin Elkanemi, at the Emir’s Palace in Damaturu before proceeding to Commissions other capital projects executed by Buni’s administration in the state.
The president also commissioned Maternity and Child Health Care Complex at Yobe State University Teaching Hospital, a Model School at New Bra Bra Housing Estate, and Ibrahim Geidam Ultra Modern Market in Damaturu.
Similarly Buhari has also Commissioned a 2,350 Housing Units built across the state.
Also, a gala night was organised in the President’s honour by the state government at Banquet Hall Government House Damaturu.
