The All Progressives Congress (APC), North west zone said the suspension earlier slammed on the Senator representing Kaduna central senatorial district, Senator Shehu Sani has been quashed.
The National Vice Chairman of the APC North west zone, Barrister Inuwa Abdulkari, who stated this during the meeting of the party’s caucus that took place at the Manpower Development Institute (MDI) Dutse, Jigawa state capital.
In his opening remarks, the national vice chairman explained that the caucus of the party has decided to let the sleeping dog lay, added that what the party needs most at the moment is the unity among its members.
However, he referred to the rifts between Kaduna state Governor, Nasir El-Rufa’i and the Senator representing Kaduna central senatorial district, Senator Shehu Sani.
He therefore stressed that, “we will not condone arbitrary disciplinary actions against loyal party members, therefore laid down party constitution must be followed, before such decisions could stand”.
He said APC Northwest Chapter has directed that all ill actions taken against the party loyal members which did not follow due process across the zone be reversed.
