The National Secretary of the Labour Party, Comrade Umar Faruk Ibrahim said, for credibility and transparency, Nigerians should vote for Peter Obi comes 2023.
Addressing party supporters on Wednesday, at the LNC’s state secretariat Dutse, Jigawa state, he warned Nigerians not to repeat similar mistake they made in 2015 to vote in the wrong person.
He said it is quite regrettable that presently, Nigerians were being taken hostages by bandits on daily basis without the concern of the All Progressive Congress (APC) led government.
He further explained that Nigeria as a nation has never had it so bad as it is today, pointing out that, the country has a very weak centre that holds it together.
He, therefore, said Peter Obi was the right person to be given all the support needed to enable him win the 2023 general election, in order to re-fix the components of the country once more.
According to him, Obi is ready to transform Nigeria through various means, promising that the vast land in the north would be used for agricultural revolution.
He stressed that the Labour Party is an international affairs. “We have membership in about 57 countries in the world and Labour Party is governing three countries”.
He, therefore, introduced the Jigawa state gubernatorial candidate of the LP, Alhaji Abdullahi Tsoho Garba, to the teeming supporters of the party.
