Governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura of Nasarawa State has urged the people of the state to vote the All progressive Congress (APC) at all levels, to guarantee their future.
Speaking during the flag off the local government elections campaign in Toto local government area, Almakura said only the APC has the manifesto that would bring meaningful achievements to the people.
Al-Makura said his administration has in the last two and half years ensure creation of additional development area which has help in bringing development to the people.
He said that his administration create additional chiefdoms in the area to give the people a sense of belonging.
“Our administration has in the last one year been able to impact meaningful development by bringing government closer to them through the creation of development areas”.
Earlier speaking senator Abdullahi Adamu representing Nasarawa West district said that APC will sweep the 2015 general elections and call on the people not to waste their vote.
Senator Adamu said that his defection has brought the end of people democratic party PDP in the state.
