SSS analysing ‘Leah Sharibu’s audio’ – Presidency

The Presidency yesterday said that the State Security Service (SSS) is analysing the video purportedly released by Leah Sharibu, the Christian girl still in Boko Haram captivity.
Sharibu and others were abducted in February by Boko Haram insurgents in their school in Dapchi, Yobe state.
She was said to have been retained by the insurgents for refusing to accept Islam.
On Monday, an audio tape was published by an online medium in which she purportedly asked President Muhammadu Buhari to have pity on her.
Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Garba Shehu, said in his Twitter handle, @Garshehu, that the secret service was analysing the audio.
He said the President would spare no effort to ensure all the girls in Boko Haram’s captivity are freed.
“We are aware of the audio in circulation concerning the unfortunate situation of our daughter, Leah Sharibu.
In dealing with terrorists, nothing is too trivial.
“The secret service is analysing the voice.
Our reaction will follow the outcome of the investigation.
For President Buhari, nothing will be spared in bringing all our girls home.
He will not rest until
