Sokoto buys N20m worth of x-ray equipment for health school

Sokoto state government has bought X-ray equipment worth over N20 million for the Sultan Abdulrahman School of Health Technology, Gwadabawa, the Executive Director of the school, Alhaji
Nasiru Aliyu, disclosed this to newsmen yesterday in Gwadabawa town.
Aliyu said the equipment include visual and audio teaching aids, as well as other accessories.
“These facilities had made teaching and learning more efficient, easier and conducive,” he said.

He said the management of the school had spent over N3 million on the purchase of 1, 500 mattresses for the students.
In the same vein, part of the N3 million was used for the rehabilitation of a borehole, as well as reticulation of another one.
“We have also equipped five blocks of hostels with 46-inch television sets each. We have also renovated common staff rooms and assisted all on-course staff with N 50, 000 each.”
