As part of the 2021 recruitment exercise of 10,000 Police Constables into the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) training for successful candidates would commence on Monday, July 25, 2022, the FCT Police Command has announced.

The command disclosed this in a press statement by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Josephine Adeh, Tuesday in Abuja.

“The FCT Police Command invites candidates from the nation’s capital who participated in the medical screening exercise of the 2021 recruitment exercise of 10,000 Police Constables into the service of the NPF to check their recruitment status on the Force’ recruitment portal at, www.policerecruitment.gov.ng.

“Successful candidates thereafter are advised to print out their Invitation Slip and proceed to the Police Training College/School indicated against their names. The training exercise for successful candidates commences on Monday, July 25, 2022.”

She said, “The FCT Commissioner of Police, CP Babaji Sunday, while congratulating successful candidates from the FCT, encourages them to check the recruitment portal for further information and directives that would aid their preparations in reporting for training.

“They are equally enjoined to note that the documentation of recruits in the Training Colleges/Schools opens on Saturday, July 23, 2022, and closes on Sunday, July 30, 2022.

“It is of utmost importance to note that Candidate(s) who fails to report within the specified period would be considered to have declined the offer.

“The Command is also aware of the activities of some unscrupulous elements that despite the closure of the Admission window into the program, might want to cunningly extort uninformed members of the public or the unsuccessful candidates, promising them rail track in the skies.

“The Command wishes to dissociate itself from any of such illegal arrangement and to warn members of the public not to indulge in same but rather report perpetrators to the Police Command.”
