Ramadan: Gombe PDP chieftain doles out cash to exco, others

A renowned Politician and Former Governorship Aspirant in Gombe state, Alhaji Abdulkadir Hamma Saleh, popularly known as Hamsal, has donated N7.8 million to the executive of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state as his assistance to them as they observe the Ramadan fast.

Hamsal, also a former senatorial candidate, made the cash donation to the state executives, elders and wards chairmen of the party.

The Secretary, PDP in Gombe state, Adamu Abubakar, who disclosed the receipt of the assistance from the party chieftain, expressed appreciation on behalf of the beneficiaries.

He lauded Saleh for the gesture and prayed God to reward him.

The secretary said that the assistance would go a long way in making party stalwarts happy, especially in this period when the citizens in the country face economic predicament.

Similarly, numerous supporters of the party across the state have also received donations in various sums.
