Niger Delta group applauds NSCDC boss Audi on quality leadership

The Niger-Delta Grassroots Forum (NDGF) Akwa Ibom state chapter Wednesday applauded the Commandant General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Dr Ahmed Abubakar Audi, for his quality leadership.

The group stated that the achievements of the current administration of NSCDC in the fight against economic saboteurs ravaging the oil sector to degrade the economy of the nation and its common wealth is commendable.

This was contained in a statement signed by the group’s chapter president, Comrade Aniefiok Usanga and his secretary, Comrade Effiong Joshua Etim, and made available to newsmen in Uyo Wednesday.

The statement reads: “In clear terms, the trend in which the NSCDC had risen from obscurity to become one of the most enviable security outfits under Audi’s leadership is worth applauding and emulating.

“The drastic reduction in bunkering activities in the Niger-Delta region and the reduction of soot in Port Harcourt are all testament that the corps under the leadership of CG Audi is delivering on its mandate.

“We have closely watched with keen observation the trajectory of successes and achievements of the NSCDC in the past years, the NSCDC whose establishment Act 2003 of the National Assembly empowers it to provide 24 hour surveillance for public and private property and maintain law and order.”
