The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is poised to oust the All Progressive Congress (APC) led government in Yobe state in 2015.
Its youth leader in the state, Alhaji Ado Adamu Bomboy, who stated this yesterday while addressing newsmen in Bauchi, said the party would take advantage of the alleged failure of the ruling APC in the state to provide the desired dividends of democracy to the citizenry.
He said Governor Ibrahim Gaidam had failed woefully to revitalise the economy of the state, adding that the state had experienced backwardness in the areas of agriculture, health care delivery service and security, and assured that the PDP would respond to the yearning of the people, if voted into power in 2015.

Bomboy expressed optimism that with present support from the teeming elders, elites, youth and women the party continues to garner everyday due to the alleged poor performance of the state governor, PDP will capture the state in the next general elections.
“PDP is on a new beginning in Yobe state with an unprecedented support coming from across the state that will certainly effect change for development and prosperity in the state,” he said.

On the presidential election, the youth leader pledged to mobilise the youth in the North-east to passionately support the incumbent President Goodluck Jonathan, saying that the president was committed to solving the problems of the country.
“Jonathan’s administration has brought harmony among people through dialogue and interaction regardless of political, regional or religious affiliations. As such, his administration needs continuity to achieve its set goals.”
