NGO donates N50m instructional materials to 17 Kaduna primary schools 

An nongovernmental organisation under the auspices of Pyxera Global Rayuwa Project has  distributed instruction materials  worth N50 million to 17 primary schools in Kudan local government area of Kaduna state as intervention.

Speaking at the distribution of the materials, education specialist, Mr Ezekiel Eneojo Omale, said his organisation was committed to educational development in Kaduna, particularly Kudan local government area. 

He said the intervention was aimed at enhancing sound and quality education in the area by laying solid foundation for education at basic level.

Omale pointed out that no fewer than 12,000 and 5,000 teachers and pupils were targeted beneficiaries.

In his remarks, the projects director, Dr Victor Unamma, said the   project was handling the intervention in Katsina and Kaduna states, adding that v “in Kaduna state, only Kudan local government is selected.” 

The educationist thanked the local government chairman, traditional and other stakeholders for immense support for the exercise.

“I want to call on the head teachers and the stakeholders to make sure the materials reach the beneficiary schools only and beneficiaries should reciprocate the gesture by using the materials judiciously,” he said.
