Our ticket key to re-building Nigeria – Okowa

The Delta state governor and PDP’s vice-presidential candidate, Ifeanyi Okowa, has said the presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, and all the stakeholders of the party were committed to “re-building Nigeria to its dreams.”

Okowa said this Friday at an interfaith summit with youth groups in Bauchi organised by the Northern Muslim-Christian youth organisation held at Event Centre, Bauchi.

He gave the assurance that if elected in 2023, Atiku presidency would begin the process of re-building the country “immediately.”

He said the task of re-building the country “to work again effectively is huge,” and stressed the need for Nigerians to rally round for PDP to ensure its victory for the country’s unity and progress.

“We must appreciate the organisers of this important summit; this will be a good opportunity to discuss ways of rebuilding our country. My boss, Atiku, has a great desire, knowledge and exposure to serve this country very well.

“For us to succeed in the task ahead, the Atiku/Okowa ticket will involve all the stakeholders in the governance process so as to unify, unite and rebuild our country for better service delivery. Atiku has the understanding of the challenges and unifying and uniting the country would be a top agenda,” he said.

Earlier, the Summit’s convener who is the speaker of the Plateau state House of Assembly, Abok Nuhu Ayuba, said it was to discuss extensively on uniting youth to work together for peaceful 2023 elections.
