Olorundare not sure of Abia Warriors

Striker Dele Olorundare has told scorenigeria.com.ng he will soon quit Abia Warriors, where he is one of the highest earners. Olorundare joined Abia Warriors this term from Sunshine Stars, but he has yet to meet expectations and he has now made up his mind to leave.

“Th ings are not working out fi ne for me here,” he told SCORENigeria “I’m not getting playing time and once I secure any club, whether in the NPFL or anywhere else, then I will leave.” Checks revealed the 25-yearold has featured in only one match for Abia Warriors since arriving from Sunshine Stars at the start of the season.

Th is has not gone down well with the hierarchy of Abia Warriors who secured his services with N1m and earns second highest monthly salary at the club. “What happened was that I joined them when the season had started,” he further said. “I traveled to South Africa where I was supposed to sign for Free State Stars but things did not work out well so I came back”.

Since then, Olorundare who scored 13 goals for Sunshine Stars in 2012/2013 NPFL season has struggled for form, leading to only one appearance against his former club, Sunshine Stars, in a league match. He has thus been told in no unclear terms he would be released once he attracts a club. He featured for Turkish side TKI Tavsanli Linyitspor in 2013/2014 in a one season loan deal, scoring once in 15 appearances.
