NWFL: 9 Premiership referees suspended over poor officiating

The Nigeria Referee Association (NRA) has suspended three NWFL Premiership Centre Referees and their assistants indefinitely and have been summoned to appear before the Referee’s Committee to answer questions relating to questionable Officiating in three matches in which they were in charge. 

The three matches where poor officiating was adjudged are: Osun Babes Vs Delta Queens, Adamawa Queens Vs Nasarawa Amazons and Rivers Angels Vs Delta Queens .

According to a release issued by the Secretary of the NRA the three Centre Referee namely Joy Ogunboye from the Ondo Referee Association, Beatrice Paul from the Taraba Referee Association and Olufunke Adesola from the Oyo Referee Association were all suspended indefinitely. 

The Assistant Referees suspended also are Olusi Kikelomo, Ajirotutu Esther all from Ondo State, Elizabeth Yunusa Gombe and Wurba Bwulli Ruth from Plateau state, Rofiat Abdulrasheed and Aladenika Adetutu from Oyo and Ondo respectively.
