Edo: Former governorship aspirant leaves APC 

A  former All Progressives Congress aspirant (APC) in the September 21, governorship election in Edo state, Dr. Victoria Amu, has resigned his membership of the party.

In a letter she addressed to the chairman of APC ward 4 in Owan West local government area of Edo state, Victoria said her decision is personal.

She added: “I craved the indulgence of my friends, supporters and well wishers to respect my decisions at this auspicious moment to redefine the destiny of our great state.”

Victoria who also aspired for the State House of Assembly seat in 2022, however thanked the APC for finding her worthy to have served as Senior Special Assistant (SSA) for seven years to former governor Adams Oshiomhole and aide to governor Godwin Obaseki for one year.
