‘No more bad eggs in FCT PDP’

A former House of Representatives member for Abuja South Constituency, Isah Dobi, has said the FCT chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) had no “more bad eggs among it.”

Dobi stated that the party had put its structure in a better position for the 2019 elections after doing away with bad leaders that ruined the party’s reputation.

“Bad leadership in the past caused us a lot of challenges, but now we have identified it as well as put the party in a good position,” he said.

He said with the new arrangement in place, PDP will reclaim all the positions in the FCT in 2019, which would prepare it to deliver the dividends good governance to the people.

He said the PDP was previously facing bad leadership occasioned by poor representation of those who were piloting its activities within the nation’s capital.

The former member, who represented Abaji, Gwagwalada, Kuje and Kwali Federal Constituency, regretted that the former leaders failed to run the affairs of the party in line with democratic principles, making it to suffer defeat in 2015 general elections.

According to him, PDP has identified the major areas that affected its better chances in the past and would do what it takes to keep the new glory.

Dobi called on the residents to ensure that “come 2019, only competent leaders with masses interest at heart should be elected.”
