Nimrod pays .74m tuition fees of 27 Kaduna volleyballers 

 

President Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF) and Chairman Kaduna State Volleyball Association (KADSVA), Engr. Musa Nimrod, has paid the tuition fees of 27 volleyball players in the state.

The gesture is a culmination of his immense love for sports and sportsmen and women especially volleyball players and philanthropist activities in the area of helping young men and women advance their career and education for them to have a better future according to a statement signed by a board member and Media officer of the KADSVA Board, Okpani Jacob Onjewu Dickson on Tuesday.

The statement, which quoted the Secretary General of KADSVA, Malam Adamu Mohammed, said a total sum of N740,000 was released by Engineer Nimrod to cater for the tuition, WAEC, and JAMB among other educational fees of the 27 players, just to support them and motivate them to continue to showcase their talent in the game.  

According to him, “three of the students in tertiary institutions received N80,000 each. WAEC fees of N30,000 each was given to 13 of the students, while JAMB registration fees of N10,000 each was given to 11 students.

“Engr. Nimrod has been a pillar of grassroots sports development, not only in Kaduna state, but across the country and he has been a beacon of hope for many people through his philanthropy which covers the entire nation.”
