NAWOJ congratulates Adepoju on historic appointment as CG Immigration

The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) has congratulated the Comptroller General (CG) of the Nigeria Immigration Services,

Mrs. Wura Ola Caroline Adepoju, on her landmark appointment as the substantive CG.

NAWOJ National Secretary, Wasilah Ibrahim, in a press statement, Sunday, in Abuja, said, “National Secretariat of NAWOJ under the leadership of National Chairperson, Aisha Ibrahim Bura, proudly extends its heartfelt congratulations to Mrs. Wura Ola Caroline Adepoju on her landmark appointment as the substantive Comptroller General of the Nigeria Immigration Services.”

According to her, “Mrs. Adepoju’s appointment is a historic and groundbreaking milestone, as she becomes the first woman to hold this distinguished position.

“NAWOJ commends the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for

recognising Mrs. Adepoju’s exceptional leadership, expertise, and unwavering dedication, thereby opening the doors to greater inclusivity and representation within the organisation.
