Many property lost as fire razes shops in Potiskum main market

Some portion of the potiskum town main market was razed by fire on Wednesday.

Blueprint gathered that the fire engulfed property worth more than N50 million.

The reason for the fire, according to eyewitness, is an electrical fault from one of the shops and no injury was recorded.

The Algon Chairman Harmonize Traders Yobe state and Executive Chairman United Marketers Traders Association Yobe state chapter, Mallam Nasiru mato, who was at the scene on Thursday morning sympathised with the victims over the incidents.

Mato assured the victims that, he will do all he can to see that government and well-to-do individuals come to their aid in order to alleviate their lost.
