Labour Party says conference is devoid of primordial agenda

National Chairman of the Labour Party, Comrade Dan Nwanyanwu has  said that delegates at the conference are not guided by primordial considerations, maintaining that the things that will unite the country are their primary concerns
Nwanyanwu, a delegate at the ongoing conference representing his party observed that the preliminary session of the conference was an indication that it would end well in favour of Nigerians.

The Labour Party chairman who noted that Nigerians have become too religious and can recite from the holy books- Bible and Quran but without the slightest knowledge of the national anthem and pledge commended the conference for adopting the second stanza of the national pledge as prayer.
He said Nigerians were watching the proceedings of the conference and the delegates must exercise caution in whatever they do with the proceedings saying that the rules would be carefully looked at and adopted to tell Nigerians that it is independent and not being tele-guided.

He further said there was no basis of comparing the conference of former President Olusegun  Obasanjo’s and the current one saying that the constitution entitled Jonathan to another tenure while the 2005 conference was induced by a secret agenda of third term forcing the National Assembly to throw away the baby and the birth water .
On what the Labour party brought with it to the conference, he said their position would be made known in their memo that will come up at a future date saying that it is clear that at the end of the conference poverty would be a thing of the past in the country.
