Kaduna state House of Assembly yesterday confirmed Dr Ibrahim Hamza as Commissioner of Water Resources.
Hamza was nominated by Governor Nasir Ahmed El-Rufai to serve as commissioner in the state.
The nominee appeared before the plenary presided over by the Speaker, Alhaji Aminu Shagali and was screened and confirmed.
Speaking on the Zaria water project, he said government is a continuum, saying “we all know that recently the government commissioned the Zaria water project. In my capacity as the commissioner of water resources, I hope and intend to continue the good job of the former administrator.”
He assured the people of the state that he would work to ensure the accomplishment of the vision and mission of the state government.
Dr Ibrahim Hamza was the former Director General, Kaduna state Facility Management. He was born in 1974 in Soba local government area and has PhD in architecture.
