Group charges Kogi electorate on supplementary polls

A group, Inese/Ovakere New Layout Progressive Association, Nagazi-Uvete in Adavi local government area of Kogi state, has charged the people of central senatorial district where the supplementary election would hold to brace up  in  ensuring  that the All Progressives Congress (APC) sweep the remaining polling units.

Chairman of the association, Comrade Tijani Abdulkarim Oguna, who gave the charge in Lokoja while fielding questions from newsmen, said the choice of Yahaya Bello as a replacement for Late Abubakar Audu had opened another era in the history of the state where a young and vibrant youth is been given the chance to lead the state.

He urged the electorate in the central district and other parts of the state to come out in their large number to accomplish the governorship election.
He said the elders had played their roles in leading the state since its creation, adding that the youth should be given the chance to pilot the affairs of the state to glory.
