Gov.Buni donates house, cash, others to family of man killed by military truck in Damaturu

Yobe state governor o Mai Mala Buni has purchased a House worth Seven Million Naira for the children of the late Mohammed Ali who was accidentally killed by a military truck in Damaturu a few weeks ago.

In addition to the House,the family also received a cash donation amounting to Two Million, Five Hundred Thousand Naira (2.5m) from the governor as well as a pledge of supporting the Basic Education of the Children.

Presenting the cash support and the documents of the House to the children on behalf of governor Buni, through the Emir of Damaturu Alhaji Shehu Hashimi II Ibn Umar Al-Amin El-Kanemi, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Religious Affairs Ustaz Babagana Mallam Kyari Baba Gana M. Kyari sympathized with the family and prayed for the deceased Al-Jannatul Firdaus.

Ustaz Kyari who urges the widow to take heart, revealed that the cash and other support has not given as a rebate for losing their loved ones but a social protection.

In his remarks after presenting the donation to the children, the Emir of Damaturu, Alhaji Dr. Shehu Hashimi II Ibn Umar Al-Amin El-Kanemi, says every living soul is destined to die.

The Royal Father thanked governor Buni for the gesture and prayed for the departed soul Jannatul Firdaus.

The brief presentation ceremony which took place in the Palace of the Emir of Damaturu, was attended by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Security Matters Brig. Gen. Dahiru Abdulsalam (Rtd), the Commanding Officer of 233 Battalion Lt. Col. G. Abdul among other top military officers in the state.
