Covid-19: BUK shuts down campuses

Authorities of the Bayero University, Kano (BUK) on Friday directed its students on all the campuses of the university to proceed on a one-month vacation in response to coronavirus.

In a press statement in Kano, students who had already left the Campus as a result of the on-going two-week warning strike embarked upon by the Academic Union of Universities s(ASUU)  have been directed to stay at home for a period of   one month.

According to the statement, the decision taken to close the campuses came on the heels of the disturbing spate of the virus which took a disastrous toll on some nations across the globe.
