Bandits Wednesday stormed a custom Officer’s residence, Mallam Awwal Ibrahim, at Nagiyi village in Zaria local government area of Kaduna state.
Blueprint reports that the bandits stormed the area between the hours of 10 and 11 pm on Wednesday.
Investigation revealed that the bandits initially stormed Unguwar Dankali neighbourhood of Wusasa where they abducted six persons and killed an 82-year-old man last Sunday but the attack was repelled by mob.
Blueprint however, learnt that they fled the area and headed to the Nagiyi village and and abducted the said custom officer’s Children.
As at the time of filing this report, efforts to reach Kaduna state Police Command’s spokesman for comment wasn’t possible as he didn’t answered the call put to his mobile phone and did not respond to text message sent to him.
