APC will strengthen unity, cohesion among North-west members – Datti

  

The new National Vice Chairman North-west of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Garba Datti Muhammad has pledged to strengthen the cohesion and unity among zonal party members to further entrench the zone’s importance to the party. 

Hon. Garba Datti Muhammad, who was sworn in by the APC National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje in Abuja on Friday 25th August 2023, following the resignation of the former national vice chairman, Malam Salihu Mohammed Lukman on July 26th 2023, reiterated the need to retain the party’s status as dominant political platform in the North-west zone and as the zone that has contributed most votes to the party’s victory at the national election in 2015, 2029 and 2023. 

Speaking in a statement he issued in Kaduna on Wednesday and made available to Blueprint, the APC Zonal Publicity Secretary (North-west), Malam Musa Mailafiya Mada said, having held its inaugural meeting under the new leadership of Hon. Garba Datti Muhammad which was well attended by all relevant party leaders, the zonal office of the ruling APC is set to maintain its apex position as the most critical zone of the ruling party. 

“The new National Vice Chairman North-west of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Hon. Garba  Datti Muhammad has vowed to harness his wealth of experience and connections across board to restrengthen the unity and cohesion among the APC faithful in the North-west geopolitical zone owing to the fact that North-west is the most important zone in the country.

“The four time member of the National Assembly, who represented Sabon Gari Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives for 16 consecutive years, noted with keen interest that retaining the party’s status as dominant political platform in the zone require unity and cohesion to be sustained at all levels. The Zonal Chairman opined that it can be achieved only if the party remained actively united by exploring grey areas to be strengthened beyond electioneering processes.
