APC councilors back Ali as youth minister

Councilors under the auspices of the National Progressive Councilor’s Forum (NPCF),  Sunday,  endorsed the Chief whip of Kumbotso Local Government Council, Kano State,  Hon. Muslihu Yusuf Ali as the Minister of Youth. 

They described Ali,  who represents Guringawa ward in Kumbotso Local Government Council as a party loyalty and a die-hard supporter of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu,  who worked for his success at the 2023 presidential election. 

In a letter of endorsement signed by the NPCF’s National Secretary,

Oshodi, Lagos state,  they said Ali’s appointment as the new minister of youth would serve as a reward for the loyalty of ten million youths that voted for APC in  2023.

“Sequel to the State House Press Statement dated August 20, 2023, which stated that His Excellency, Mr. President Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu has re-assigned the minister of youth and the New Minister yet to be designated. 

“The NWC of National Progressives Councilor’s Forum NPCF on behalf of entire APC Serving Councilors across the progressive states which comprises the National Executive, Zonal Coordinators, and the State chairmen, hereby endorsed Hon. Muslihu Yusuf Ali who was sound in both leadership and knowledge with First Degree in English a vast experience of Governance and politics, a typical grassroots politician who held different positions at Local Government, State, and National Level.

“Moreover, the patriotic young man of 36 who is currently a Chief whip at Kumbotso LG council, Kano State and serving the good people of Guringawa ward, who is a party loyalist/ Asiwaju  Bola Tinubu  die-hard  supporter who uses his capacity as National leader of Councilors to Partake in Presidential Campaign council hold the top opposition of Deputy Coordinator Ward and polling units of Local Government Directorate of PCC and he also have registered the Forum with Youth Directorate of PCC under mentorship and directive made by our principal Mr Seyi Tinibu after believing that 99% of Councilors are youths.

“Finally we would like to take this medium to express our gratitude to His Excellency, Mr President for listening to the voices of the youths and took action immediately and bring back our mandate to have Youth as the Honorable Minister of Youths of Federal republic of Nigeria. 

“And if this opportunity will be given to us we are sure that loyalty of over Ten million youths (10,000,000) that voted for us 2023 will be maintained to assure 2027 election smoothly,” they said.
