Coach Thomas Tuchel will most likely remain the manager of German side, Bayern Munich, at least till next season.

This is after the the serial Bundesliga club reportedly opened discussion with the former Chelsea and PSG handler.

Tuchel had in February, 2024 announced that he will not continue in his present role at Munich.

After Bayern was rejected by potential replacements including Xabi Alonso, Julian Nagelsmann and Ralf Rangnick, they have opened talks with Tuchel about the possibility of staying on.

Tuchel also have the backing of the fans to stay back at the German side, ESPN reports.

Tuchel has been linked with a move to Manchester United, but he fears he might not get the job even if Erik ten Hag leaves.

United are set to wait until after the FA Cup final against Manchester City on May 25 before making a decision on Ten Hag’s future.

The Dutchman, who has a contract until 2025, has come under increasing pressure following a disappointing second season in charge.
