Yobe state Governor, Mai Mala Buni, has approved the appointment of Alhaji Baba Malam Wali, as acting Secretary to the State Government (SSG) and Alhaji Abdullahi Yusuf Gashua, as acting Chief of Staff (CoS).
This is contained in a statement signed by the governor’s media aide, Alhaji Mamman Mohammed on Monday.
According to the statement, the appointment of the two officers is with immediate effect.
Until the dissolution of the state execurive council last month, both senior government officials had served in substantive capacities.
