TopPro scouting tournament ends Friday in Lagos

The maiden edition of TopPro Sports management company scouting tournament comes to an Friday, at the Digital Bridge Institute football pitch, Oshodi, Lagos.

The tournament which is featuring 28 teams drawn from across the country, has expectedly thrown up remarkably gifted youngsters in line with the desires of the organizers headed by the renowned football Intermediary, Ayodele Thomas.

The scouting tournament which began Wednesday in Lagos has continued to thrill the experienced foreign and local soccer scouts and Intermediaries including UK based Jesse Barrison- Lawson, Spaniard Camilo Garcia Lopez, as well as, former ABS and Sunshine Stars coach, Salihu Yusuf.

An obviously elated Lawson of Aace Global Sports company, was effusive in praises over the displays of the starry-eyed lads in the exciting and keenly contested matches so far played in the tournament.

” I am excited by the talents and prospects of these young lads. It is a testimony that we shall sooner find the Osimhens and Chukwuezes. I also commend the organizers of this programme for digging deep to come up with this wonderful programme,” Lawson enthused.

According to the CEO of TopPro Sports management company, Ayodele Thomas, the programme, have so far, lived up to expectations.

” TopPro is bent in ensuring the discovery and exposure of fresher, younger and better talented young footballers, for the benefits of Nigeria and world football.

” Therefore, we didn’t spare the bucks in bringing top foreign and local football scouts and Intermediaries to oversee this programme and to help us achieve the aims of fishing out the best talents amongst the hundreds of glory and fortune hungry youngsters,” Thomas, who also doubles as the Chairman of Football Intermediaries Association of Nigeria, stated enthusiastically.
