Prior to inauguration on 29 May, 2023, the President-elect, Bola Tinubu, will receive the esteemed national recognition of Grand Commander of the Order of the Federal Republic (GCFR), alongside Vice President-elect Kashim Shettima who will be honored with the Grand Commander of the Order of the Niger (GCON) on Thursday, May 25, 2023.
These details were outlined in the schedule of events for the 2023 Presidential Inauguration, which was recently published by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, on Thursday, May 18, 2023.
The activities will commence with a dinner in honour of the outgoing President Muhammadu Buhari on 23 May.
