Salute to Adamu Gwarzo @46

“The best of people are those who are most beneficial to people” – Hadith

It is with profound feelings and thanksgiving that I wish a rare gem, a sterling personality and philanthropist, Professor Adamu Gwarzo, a happy birthday.

Birthday celebrations happen every day and in different styles but celebrating a sage, erudite scholar, a human capacity builder, and a man of letters comes in a grand style.

Indeed, the best among people is the one who helps them grow like a tree, one who benefits people with shades, fruits and wood, and the best of all people are those who make others smile with their sacrifices.

Plurilingual Professor Gwarzo is a gift sent to earth, a reason to be happy to all people and a smile to relief from turmoil of hardship and pains, celebrating the 46th year of Gwarzo on earth reminds me of some of his achievements and generosity to the people.

Professor Gwarzo has a great passion to help people. His ambition is to educate “one million people” and to make this a reality; Prof Gwarzo has spent billions of naira to improve education in Africa. Gwarzo has donated cars to schools, sponsored numerous programmes and provided scholarships to many.

Some of his sacrifices to humanity include buying houses for people, settling medical bills, schools renovation/construction, and donations towards worthy causes.

Professor Adamu Gwarzo is a bridge that connects people for progress and development. His mission is to remove all boundaries to human development through education. The Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo Foundation (AAGF) is a remarkable instrument that set the difference in human lives and educational system in Africa.

Professor, as you celebrate an achievement in life’s race of 46 years age mark, may your days continue to shine like the sun that benefits people, progress like the moving moon and keep beautifying people’s lives like the sparkling stars in the sky. Amen.
