Cristiano Ronaldo has been tipped for a sensational move back to Real Madrid, just three months after signing for Al Nassr.
The 38-year-old became the highest-paid player in world football in December after agreeing a £175million-a-year contract until 2025.
Ronaldo joined the Saudi Arabian giants after his Manchester United contract was terminated following his explosive interview with Piers Morgan.
However, reports in Spain claim Ronaldo is already thinking about quitting the Saudi Pro League.
According to El Nacional, Los Blancos are prepared to offer their club legend an ambassadorial role, with his partner, Georgina Rodriguez, desperate to head back to Madrid.
The Catalan outlet said: “Florentino Perez has guaranteed that [Ronaldo] will not lack work at the Santiago Bernabeu.
“But, obviously he wouldn’t do it to be a player, because he considers that it is a cycle that should be considered closed.”
Ronaldo netted a staggering 451 goals in 438 appearances during his time at Real Madrid.
He also picked up various honours with Los Blancos, which include: four Champions League crowns, three Club World Cups, and two LaLiga titles.
Since arriving at Al Nassr, Ronaldo has 12 goals to his name, most recently scoring in his side’s 3-0 victory over Al Raed on Friday.
He gave Al Nassr the lead inside just four minutes, heading home a cross from Sultan Al Ghannam.
Al Nassr are currently second in the Saudi Pro League standings, three points behind leaders Al Ittihad, who have a game in hand.
