Cristiano Ronaldo gifted a watch to boxer Francis Ngannou ahead of his fight with Tyson Fury in Saudi Arabia.
Francis Ngannou thanked Cristiano Ronaldo for gifting him a Jacob & Co. watch worth £110,000 prior to facing British heavyweight Tyson Fury in the ring in Riyadh on October 28. “Got to pick up my new watch ahead of fight week here in Riyadh. Thank you @jacobandco Riyadh & my brother @cristiano! FuryNgannou,” he wrote on Instagram while showing off his new gift.
Ronaldo is a big fan of combat sports and said previously in a 2020 documentary made by DAZN that, although football is his passion, he would choose boxing or UFC over football when it comes to watching sport on TV.
The next game for CR7 and his Al-Nassr team-mates is against Al-Duhail of Qatar in the AFC Champions League group stage on Tuesday. The Saudi Arabian club are top of the group with two wins from two games so far.
