Ronaldo gets back to training, days after wining European title

Cristiano Ronaldo is not a man to rest up after he was pictured on an exercise bike just days after winning the Nations League with Portugal.

The mega-star led his nation to victory in the inaugural tournament after they beat Holland 1-0 in the final.

Juventus’ talisman played the full 90 minutes as the host nation added to their Euro ’16 triumph with victory at Porto’s Estadio do Dragao.

And despite a long gruelling season that saw Juve clinch their eighth consecutive Serie A title during Ronaldo’s first season in Italy, the five-time Balon d’Or winner clearly has no appetite for rest.

Taking to Instagram, the former Manchester United and Real Madrid man posted a picture of himself on a spinning bike in the gym.

Looking suitably tanned and in excellent shape, Ronaldo simply captioned it: “Good morning.”

The attitude was even more impressive given the 34-year-old also led his nation to the last-16 at last summer’s World Cup in Russia.

But after two consecutive extended seasons, the man some consider the greatest player of all time, shows no sign of stopping.

Ronaldo notched 28 goals and 13 assists from 43 Juventus appearances last season.

And the Portugal captain has also scored 88 times in just 157 games for his nation.
