RMRDC gets hosting rights for RIGAN 2021 games

The Raw Materials Research and Development Council (RMRDC)  will host the 2021 Research Institute Games Association of Nigeria (RIGAN) games in Abuja.

The disclosure was made during the inauguration of RMRDC Local Organizing Committee (LOC) for the year 2021 on Thursday in Abuja.

Speaking, the representative of the Director General RMRDC, the LOC Chairman Dr. Abubakar Mohammed said the responsibility given to the Council would be given the utmost attention it deserves due to the management’s interest in this area.

Adding, he said undying love and support of the RMRDC DG for sports will make it a success story not just for personal interest but for nation building as well. “I assure you a better success story in the next event because of our director general’s passion for sports alongside the passion and participation of staff in one sport or the other and so we assure you of our full support wherever we have the power to do so”

Mohammed urged the inaugurated members to see it as more responsibility and selfless service, not on a personal gain or achievement in parties but growing the nation in sport.

Earlier, the National President RIGAN Professor Owolade lauded RMRDC for its consistent and timely gesture they have extended to RIGAN, appealing to all inaugurated members to participate fully for positive results

During his welcome remarks, Chairman RMRDC Sport Club Engineer Batako Lapai charged all members to see it as a call to duty urging them to create time for the purpose of executing the initiative to greater heights.

Also speaking, the Chairman Technical/Game Facilities and Officiating RIGAN, Engineer Kwaya said the Council is well positioned to take the task ahead as well as improve the performance of since 2007 RMRDC hosted last edition.
