Ramadan: Kano governor holds Iftar with government House staff 

The governor of Kano state, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has organised a fast-breaking event for the Government House staff serving in various directorates and units.

The iftar aims to acknowledge the efforts of the Government House staff in effectively managing the state’s affairs.

This was contained in a statement issued by the governor’s spokesperson, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa weekend.

In a statement, Governor Yusuf highlighted the crucial roles played by the Government House staff in the daily operations of government activities, stating the importance of recognising and motivating them for enhanced productivity.

Alhaji Yusuf elaborated on the provisions his administration has made to bring joy to the Government House staffers and, by extension, the entire state workforce.

He urged them to remain dedicated, steadfast, and industrious as the driving force behind any government, implementing strategic policies and programs aimed at delivering the benefits of democracy and good governance throughout Kano.

In response, the Head of Civil Service, Alhaji Abdullahi Musa, expressed gratitude for the governor’s efforts in revitalising the civil service through various initiatives to reinvigorate the entire workforce.
