In Imo, Onyeagucha demands Uzodimma’s resignation, condemns killings

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for Imo East Senatorial District, Uche Onyeagucha, has condemned the recent murder of seven persons in Orogwe, Owerri west local government area of Imo state.

He said the incident was another confirmation of the rising wave of insecurity and cold blooded murder of innocent souls in the state.

He described the sad incident in his local government, Owerri west, as disheartening and called on Governor Uzodimma to resign since he has shown himself incapable of protecting the lives and property of people resident in the state.

“This is the irreducible minimum responsibility of any responsible government. The continued shedding of innocent blood in the state under the present administration is condemnable and unacceptable,” he stated.
